Dr Iheadi Onwukwe has over 25 years’ range of international experience of specialist public health practice in United Kingdom, Somalia, Nigeria, and a complementary portfolio of outstanding competencies in strengthening governance and resilience systems in fragile states, understanding complexity and complex adaptive systems, implementation science, data analytics for service delivery and sustainable development, strengthening national health information management and enhancing effective development cooperation
In the conflict-afflicted North East Nigeria, Iheadi has served as the organisational reforms and institutional performance in the public sector expert supporting the mandate and stakeholder mapping for the operationalisation of the Presidential Committee on North East initiatives (PCNI); the Institutional Support Consultant for the Yobe State Project Coordinating and Monitoring Unit (PCMU) liaising with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for humanitarian assistance, recovery and peacebuilding work in Yobe State. Iheadi conducted the Institutional Mapping and Scoping Study for Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL) Project for Yobe State, and supported the Institutional Mapping in Borno State.
He has provided strategic advice and guidance on policy development and implementation of specific health sector reform and change management strategies at the national and sub-national level of Governments, and has consulted for various international and national agencies. He has an in-depth understanding of the Nigerian people, government and service delivery context as well as experience of international comparators.
Iheadi is an accredited specialist in public health medicine, on the United Kingdom General Medical Council Specialist Register (No: 4691635), and holds a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Public Health Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (CCST), UK 2000; Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of Durham, UK, 2001; Master of Arts in Health Management, Planning, and Policy (MAHMPP) degree, University of Leeds, UK 1994; and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) Degree University of Benin (1988). Akan Udoete is a GIS Consultant with over twenty years of experience providing technical GIS services to engineering-survey, environmental, public health sub-sectors, including developing operational maps/instruments for information processing, research and development at administrative level 3 (ward level) in the Northeastern Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria. He served as the GIS Consultant in the feasibility study for rollout of community based health insurance programme in the Southeast Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, as well as in the Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping of the primary healthcare centers project in Taraba State among other projects.
In addition, he has built the capacity of a successive cohort of students in configuration and use of GIS platforms used his skillset in, data visualizations, cartography, spatial analysis, automation/scripting of spatial tasks to enhance data management. In the course of his consultancies at national and sub-national levels, he has interacted greatly with middle and senior-level officials in Nigeria’s Ministries, Departments and Agencies and has developed an enhanced understanding of the technical, political, economic and socio-cultural dynamics influencing data management in Nigeria.
Akan holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geography with specialization in quantitative methods, automated cartography and remote sensing.
Adangozi is a Project Management Specialist with experience in starting-up and rolling out quality assurance, new business development, governance, quality management, public health, logistics, people management, effective communication among project teams, HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, Malaria, community outreach and operations systems. Her strategy for management is focused on effectively engaging people through relationship-based management in order to harness their full potentials to deliver results. She is currently the Project Management Advisor/ Operations Manager at TCIS.
Ada currently coordinates the National Integrated Sample Referral Network (NiSRN) project implemented across three states; Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi. Ada has planned and coordinated several projects including the Mandate and Stakeholder Mapping for the Presidential Committee on the North East, a World Bank funded project; HCT Campaign and demand creation for HIV services in Gokana LGA of Rivers State. As a student, she co-managed a project to improve communication among different departments and the students in the University of Bedfordshire through the use of a centralised events calendar.
Prior to that, she worked in Candix Engineering with focus on quality assurance and control, drafting procedures, designing templates for inspection and driving the implementation of Quality Management Systems. Additionally, she was a Field Officer actively involved in the pilot phase of the Universal Access to Female Condom (UAFC) Project as a corp. member in the Society of Family Health Edo organising and leading monthly review meetings with lead trainers to review the progress of activities in Auchi and its environs.
Ada is a Nigerian with a first degree in Human Physiology. Her interest in understanding human behaviour led her to do a semester course in Peace and Conflict Studies before proceeding to the UK to obtain a Master’s degree in Project Management. Odochi has over 12 years of progressing administrative and research experience in the education sector. She is presently on sabbatical leave from her position as a lecturer in the Department of Office Technology and Management, Abia State polytechnic, Aba. She has an M.Sc in Information Management Technology degree from Federal University of Technology, Owerri and a B.Sc in Secretarial Administration degree from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
Obinna’s current responsibilities include ensuring, statutory compliance, evaluation of ledger account and schedules of all management control accounts.
Obinna has worked as a project account manager for the Integrated health screening and medical outreach project in Bori and Khana Local Government Areas, Rivers State and the PATHS II Behavioural Change Communication (BCC) Mini –Survey in five Nigerian States.
He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and student member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN).
Chiamaka serves as a data science associate. She possesses more than 3 years’ professional experiences in data collection, editing, entry, documentation, visualization and analysis, gained through series of internship/volunteer work with governmental and non-governmental organization in Nigeria. Chiamaka has built some proficiency in data visualization and GIS mapping and analysis. She is well organized, self-motivated, conscientious and target driven. She performs with minimum supervision, adhering to internal policies and procedures, and maintains productive relationships with clients and work teams. Prior to joining TCIS, she served as a volunteer data documentation officer, reproductive health unit of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Abuja, Nigeria, where she was responsible for data collection, analysis and documentation. Before she volunteered in NBS, she worked at Gombe State Bureau of Statistics (GSBS), Gombe State as a data analyst.
Adenike is proficient in digitisation and manual drafting of maps, interpretation and analysis of map features, picking and plotting of coordinates as well as plotting of survey data using AutoCAD, and other data processing. In addition, she gained complementary experience in operations and financial management. During a cross-departmental posting as the Contract and Logistics Officer with overall responsibility to set-up contracts for prospective short-term consultants and vendors of a non-domiciled client engaged in the DFID-funded PATHS2 project. She maintained a database of consultants and vendors and was involved in vendor and consultant negotiations; preparation and payment authorization on behalf of the client.
Adnike holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Geographical information system (GIS) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Higher National Diploma in Cartography & GIS from Federal Polytechnic, Kaduna.
Uchenna Okonkwo multi-tasks effectively and is developing a portfolio of skills in data analytics and visualisation, logistics and supply chain management including biological specimen transportation and last mile delivery; and fleet management.
He was the Logistics Officer in charge of Sample Transport in Enugu State under the National Integrated Sample Referral Network (NiSRN) project funded by Chemonics. Currently, he is involved in data analysis and visualization where he engages in the presentation of data in a format, which ensures easy understanding for management information and decision-making. He also manages and coordinates logistics in the organization. Prior to that, he worked as a Maintenance Officer with the Federal Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development.
He holds a B.Sc in Building degree from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology. His hobbies include music production and fish farming.
